27 May 2026 Dear Mr. Simone and Mr. Lindsay, Please find attached a letter from the Garment District Neighbourhood Association regarding the recently announced name for the future Ontario Line station at Queen Street West and Spadina Avenue. Our request is that Metrolinx reopen the consultation process before the station name is treated as final. As outlined in the attached letter, our concern is with the process, the lack of meaningful local consultation, and the importance of ensuring that station names accurately reflect geography, wayfinding, neighbourhood identity, and public input. We would appreciate confirmation that this letter has been received and circulated to the appropriate senior staff and departments responsible for station naming, public communications, planning, and community consultation.
