Become a GDNA Voting Member. If you reside within our catchment area bounded by Queen/King/Spadina/Bathurst, your GDNA membership gives you a voice on municipal and provincial issues … including but not limited to development proposals, traffic solutions, liquor license applications, heritage designations, green spaces and public safety. Benefits of membership include 1) voting for and potentially assuming executive positions and 2) participation in a private email group and webpage accessible only to members and 3) editorial rights to the blog page on the GDNA website.
Become a GDNA Associate Member. The GDNA recruits Associate Members from populations that are likely to broaden community input and improve decision making. Associate Members might be local businesses, elected officials or representatives from area condo Boards, affiliate Resident Associations and other non-profit organizations. As an Associate Member you are invited to attend General and Annual General Meetings, become involved in community affairs and have your voice heard on local initiatives.
Subscribe to our Mailing List. Discover what is happening in the Garment District neighbourhood … development proposals, liquor license applications, community consultation meetings, City-wide initiatives, local events. Our mailing list is managed via a closed Google Group that blocks spam emails.
Donate to the GDNA. Enable initiatives that protect and enhance our community … from hiring legal and expert advice for OMB hearings at one extreme to supporting park and lane improvements at the other. The GDNA is not a registered charity but donations large and small are most welcome.
