The Toronto and East York Community Council, at its July 4th session, adopted Planning's recommendation to approve this application. The final "hurdle" will be City Council on July 23rd. Click here for the TEYCC minutes.
In response to GDNA concerns about Rush Lane during the construction phase of the project, Alterra representatives initiated a meeting with GDNA members and promised further meetings at which we could bring forth our issues and "brain-storm" solutions. The GDNA has an excellent relationship with Alterra re construction of the Ace Hotel so expects the same going forward on this one.
