Trees are Disappearing Far Too Fast !

I was about to post a discouraging word about the "sawed-off trees on Spadina but then came upon this broken tree just getting its start outside Starbucks. What is going on? This was a deliberate act of vandalism. We NEED trees everywhere, and especially in the GDNA. These sad stumps only serve to remind one of their importance.
